1. Acceptance

By accessing or using any service, page, tool, or API published by P31 Labs, Inc. (“P31 Labs,” “we,” or “us”) at p31ca.org, bonding.p31ca.org, donate-api.phosphorus31.org, or any associated Cloudflare Worker URL, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and P31 Labs, Inc. under the laws of the State of Georgia. “You” means the individual accessing the service or, if applicable, the organization on whose behalf you act.

2. Scope of services

P31 Labs operates the following primary surfaces covered by these terms:

We may add, modify, or discontinue any service or feature at any time without advance notice. All services are provided over the public internet and rely on third-party infrastructure (primarily Cloudflare). Availability is not guaranteed.

3. Open-source license notice

Many components and tools published by P31 Labs are available under open-source licenses. The applicable license for each repository or package is stated in that repository’s LICENSE file on github.com/p31labs. Open-source licenses grant you specific rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute covered code subject to their terms; those rights are in addition to, not limited by, these Terms of Use.

Content on p31ca.org that is not otherwise licensed (e.g., branding, written copy, design assets) remains the property of P31 Labs, Inc. and may not be reproduced without permission.

See our Open source page for an index of published packages and their licenses.

4. No professional advice

Nothing on any P31 Labs surface constitutes medical, legal, financial, therapeutic, or other licensed professional advice. Specific notice by service:

Operators who deploy P31 Labs components or APIs within their own products remain solely responsible for ensuring their deployment complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in their jurisdiction.

5. Payments and donations

Donations to P31 Labs, Inc. are processed by Stripe through donate-api.phosphorus31.org. By initiating a donation you also agree to Stripe’s terms. Stripe handles all payment card data; P31 Labs never receives or stores your card number, CVV, or full card details.

P31 Labs, Inc. is not yet recognized as tax-exempt. Our 501(c)(3) application (Form 1023-EZ, Pay.gov tracking ID 281TLBGO) was filed on 2026-04-30 and is pending IRS determination. Until a determination letter is issued, donations to P31 Labs, Inc. are not deductible as charitable contributions for U.S. federal income tax purposes. We will update this page promptly upon receiving a determination letter.

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable except at our discretion or as required by law. We reserve the right to decline or refund any donation.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

If you discover a potential security vulnerability, please report it responsibly via our Security disclosure page rather than exploiting it. We will work with you in good faith.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user or IP address that violates these terms, without notice and without liability.

7. Age and children

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13 as independent users. We do not knowingly operate consumer social products for unsupervised minors under 13 on p31ca.org or any associated surface.

If you are under 13, you may only use these services with the active involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

The k4-agent-hub family dock is a technical operator-side API and requires an Ed25519-authenticated operator signature and a child-mesh-unlock token issued by a guardian before any minor vertex is activated. It is not a standalone child-facing consumer application. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data in this context.

Tools such as the Cognitive Passport generator and BONDING may be used by minors with guardian involvement. Guardians are responsible for determining whether use is appropriate.

8. Intellectual property

P31 Labs, Inc. owns or licenses all intellectual property rights in the design, branding, copy, and non-open-source code on its surfaces. “P31 Labs,” “p31ca.org,” “BONDING,” “Cognitive Passport,” the K₄ tetrahedron mark, and related marks are unregistered trademarks of P31 Labs, Inc. and may not be used without permission.

Content you submit or store through operator-authenticated APIs (k4-personal, k4-cage, k4-hubs) remains yours. By submitting content you grant P31 Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to store and transmit that content solely as necessary to provide the requested service. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not sell it.

Feedback, bug reports, and feature suggestions you send us may be used freely by P31 Labs to improve our services without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, P31 LABS, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that: (a) the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) any defects will be corrected; (c) the services or the servers that make them available are free of viruses or other harmful components; or (d) the services will meet your requirements. Edge infrastructure availability is subject to Cloudflare’s own uptime guarantees, which we do not control.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, P31 LABS, INC., ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE EXTENT ANY LIABILITY IS NOT FULLY DISCLAIMED, P31 LABS’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO P31 LABS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the services that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of competent jurisdiction located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and give us 30 days to attempt informal resolution.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes (for example, changes affecting payment terms, liability, or dispute resolution) will be noted with a notice period of at least 14 days where reasonably practicable.

Your continued use of any service after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with a change, your remedy is to stop using the service.
