What it is
AES-256-GCM encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation from a Room Code passphrase. AES-256-GCM Encrypted Directory is a core component of the P31 Labs sovereign cognitive infrastructure stack — built to run offline, deployed to the edge, and designed without dark patterns.
PBKDF2 with 200,000 iterations and a random 16-byte salt derives the AES-256-GCM key. All crypto operations via WebCrypto SubtleCrypto — no third-party crypto library. Short p31ca.org URL 302 → workers.dev (probe: worker-spa-contact-locker).
